HDR Photography has always fascinated me, but it does take quite a bit of time to put the images together not to mention the fact that you end up with 3 source images at least. The built in HDR functionality on the 5D MK3 has solved this quite nicely. It is now possible to capture landscape scenes with significant dark and light areas easily. In addition you have the choice of storing all 3 images or just the final. There are also a few artistic options that are quite handy for that painted or cartoon look. This mode is ideally suited to landscape photography. I will be back with further shots soon.
